2PAC SHAKUR : An inspiring figure

Through his life, his history, his actions, his struggles, and his art, 2pac became one of the greatest inspirational men of the last decades.

But what does the term inspiring means when it comes up for a human?

In my opinion, someone inspiring is someone who is strong enough to reach his goals, and make other people follow his struggles and find their own power through what he embodies. He often has great ambitions and he is someone who deserves to be followed in his struggles. Moreover he backs you in your own fights. For me, Tupac is an inspirational man, because his struggle gives me strength to fight for my own objectives.

The fact that even in his death, his spirit still lives on through the millions of people he connected with makes his legacy keep on inspiring so many human beings.

Another reason is that 2Pac is nowadays called « Rap King » and has, after his death, inspired a wave of rappers. So, for these reasons, he is a great source of inspiration in our society.

Not only a rapper …

The « Rap King » 2Pac has not only sold over 75 million records worldwide ; he was also an actor, activist, entertainer, poet, and passionate leader. His family took part in the Black Panthers movement, and he perpetuated those ideas in his arts. So, he has a deep impact on the black community.

But people has often categorized him as a gangster who glorified the thug lifestyle. But, in contrary, I think they should consider viewing him in a more positive light. In fact, Tupac used the thug life image to market himself and connect with young people.

Perhaps, the most interesting thing about Tupac may be the impact that he has had on the world before reaching the age of 25.

After his death in 1996, 2Pac has left a huge community behind him. Today, his murder is still a mystery, and this, turns 2pac’s life into an inspirational myth : even 25 years after that tragical event, 2PAC still lives in everybody spirit in 2020.

“I know it seems hard sometimes, but remember one thing. Through every dark night, there’s a bright day after that. So no matter how hard it get, stick your chest out, keep ya head up, and handle it.”-Tupac Amaru Shakur.
